Dan Interview in the Guardian

There is a new Daniel Radcliffe interview in the
Guardian. In this interview Dan talks to Craig McLean about 'poetry, politics, and good in eye make-up'.
It is no surprise that Radcliffe, now 19, is a target for the tabloids. Last year he reportedly signed a contract worth £25.6m for the final two Harry Potter films, and was ranked as the world's highest-earning tween, alongside Disney star Miley Cyrus. Has he ever had to sue the press for defamation, or threaten to? "We've got involved a couple of times," he says carefully, "but it's never got to court. We've had to be very vigilant." He also has to be alert to entrapment, though it helps that he's not a regular club-goer, preferring "old man's pubs" and the odd gig. (He loves indie music, from Radiohead to the Hold Steady.)To read the entire interview, please

Recently Tom has been working on other movies other than Harry Potter. He has finished two movies of which are horror films. Now he's working on an action-filled movie called
Grace and Danger.
He is set to play an American soldier who is a gentlemen named Carnaby. Now that's a twist from being the evil
Draco Malfoy.
Here's a peice of the script where he helps a helpless girl named Elodie.
Élodie pauses for a beat then begins to wolf down the food, devouring every last morsel.
Sykes studies her, intrigued, and more than a little excited to be in the company of a young woman. He seems slightly intense at first, but this impression belies his harmless nature.
SYKES: She’s pretty, ain’t she? Even when she eats like that.
CARNABY: F**k decorum. For all we know, she probably hasn’t eaten for days. Hell weeks, even.
SYKES: Nah. She was busy getting on with her day, like everyone else in that village. ‘Till the Krauts came along and f****d it all to hell. I bet she’s eaten more recently than we have.
CARNABY: I doubt it.
Sykes starts stroking her hair.
She looks around at him, wide-eyed, as if suddenly threatened by the undue attention. She stops eating. He continues to stroke her hair, in a world of his own.
CARNABY (CONT’D): Give her some space, Sykes, will ya?
SYKES: What you being like that for? Maybe she likes a bit of company.
Sykes continues, unabated. Carnaby is close to reaching boiling point.
CARNABY: Hey, I said cut it out!
SYKES: Why? I ain’t hurting her. What’s it to you?
Carnaby grabs Syke’s wrist, and pushes his hand away. He stares at Sykes with hostile eyes, keen to show him he means business.
CARNABY: Doesn’t need you pawing her like she’s a goddamned plaything – that’s why. Keep your hands to yourself, dammit. She ain’t a pet.
Thanks to
feltbeats for the information on his movie.
Under Daniel Radcliffe's Spell

Setting up the site, we still have seemed to miss a couple of Dan articles. Probably some Tom ones, as well. We promise we'll catch up!
Anyways, Daniel Radcliffe did an interview with
The Sydney Morning Herald. And funny enough, the article is called
Under the Spell. In the article, Dan talks about Harry Potter, it's appeal, and so much more!
J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series has been a touchstone for a whole generation of kids growing up: Radcliffe's generation, in fact. So what's the appeal? "I think for younger kids, it's the magic that draws them in," Radcliffe says. "But what sustains them - and where I think Jo [Rowling] is brilliant - is that she makes it mundane. It's household chore magic, which leaves room for the characters."To read the entire article, please

Tom recently did an interview with Selecciones Magazine. The article is originally in Spanish, but thanks to the wonderful
HarryPotterLA-- the interview has been translated into English!
He doesn’t look like the personification of evil when we see him entering the studio in the east of London, to give us an interview and pose for pictures. “Sorry, I’m just finishing up my McDonald’s soda”, he excuses himself, Tom Felton, best known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies. “I don’t look good, do I?”.
In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the latest movie of the saga, the young 21 year old stops being the bully of the previous movies and becomes an ally of the diabolical Lord Voldemort.
“Voldemort assigns Draco de mission of killing Dumbledore, and that’s a central part of the plot” says Tom. “Draco has been a smug jerk and he’s been jealous of Harry, who is the star kid. Now he steps up and has the chance to stand out, even if it is on the dark side”.
Tom enjoys the rise of his character: “It’s the first movie in which I intervene from start to end. You kind of feel sorry for Draco because he’s just a kid, and his father is in prison now, and he has this inner struggle because of the task he has to achieve. And this time he shows more vulnerability. Not only does he call Harry and idiot, he actually breaks his nose.
